Connect operates a dedicated in-house design team with the experience and knowledge of temporary traffic management systems to produce a cost effective and safe solution to every project. Our full planning and production facility enables us to produce full detailed plans, in Autocad format, utilizing the most advanced traffic management packages. In conjunction with this service we offer a fully integrated liaison service with Statutory Bodies relevant to a particular project during the design process to ensure the ‘right first time’ approach.


We can supply traffic management plans on detailed mapping for clear understanding and visualization of the works involved and enable highway engineers and other associated planners to better assess the implications and impacts of the works involved.
Connect’s design service is widely employed by Local Authorities and Consultants when planning schemes. Our expertise and experience allows us to provide scheme designs at an early stage allowing problems to be identified early and enabling smooth transition of proposals to site. Through this process we can give advice on Chapter 8 requirements, contractural specifications and provide provisional estimates.


Connect’s design team is also used widely by Contractors to provide advice, guidance and planning on traffic management issues as a consultancy package to enable our Clients to bid for tenders where a qualified traffic management perspective is required. Scheme designs and Autocad plans are also routinely provided for work that has been awarded but require approvals from Statutory Bodies for the traffic management proposals before work can commence.
